The Principal Consultant
Alexandra Ling M.A. (Spec. Ed.); B.Sc.; Dip. Ed. is the principal consultant of EduTACT. She has worked in schools in the private, Catholic and public sectors for 35 years. Alexandra is a trained and experienced Mathematics teacher and Special Educator who has taught in both High Schools and TAFE.
She established the Academic Support Faculty at The Scots College, Bellevue Hill and redesigned and revamped the Learning Support faculty at William Clarke College, Kellyville.
Alexandra was the Senior Education Officer, in the Department of Education, responsible for the implementation of the Transition Program across NSW. This involved developing policy, procedures and training packages to help teachers prepare young people with disabilities for the move from school to work and adult life. This program was implemented in regions throughout the state.
Alexandra has also been a guest lecturer at Sydney, Macquarie and Australian Catholic Universities, as well as at various International, National and State Conferences.
